Can't get it outta my head!

Last Saturday I pulled the biggest surprise yet ! I can't keep secrets from people.I get so excited and can't wait to see the looks on their faces.I hate planning things and not being able to tell what they are.So I saw that Disney on Ice was coming back to Jax! I wanted Dream Seats for E!! Well I got online the morning they went on sale at 10am on the dot.And scored 4 of them...!! 2 for us and 2 for a friend from back home.We talked about it and didn't tell the girls what was going on.They came up Friday night.They were super surprised to see each other.We went to the beach and did a little shopping.Came home and all of us crashed!Got up and out the door bright and early the next morning...NO CLUES were given out.We got to the Arena where it was and E said..MOMMIE WE ARE GOING TO THE PRINCESS ICE SHOW!! She remembered this from last year when we went..No fooling her.I told her no .. but she was no dummy! Got inside and she went CRAZY! HAPPY...THANK YOUs I LOVE YOUs over and over! So worth it!!

E and I went to Perry for Spring Break...I had to get out of the house and let somebody else help me watch her before I went insane.I am not one that tosses my kid off on people and I have been with her every minute of everyday for months now.So we went on a road trip.And it found us back in my hometown.Mama was glad to see us and we were her.We hid eggs on Sunday when we got there.The Easter Bunny brought Bendaroos,Tales of Desperaux,Little Mermaid 2 and Bolt...A Jonas Bros poster,pencils,note pads,and toys...and most of all PINK M&Ms!
Wednesday we went to Tally shopping.I got fabric for cruise outfits,shoes and such for E..whew..It was a lot of shopping.And we had to have Graves Drive In for supper !!
Friday I was online on Yahoo and got an IM from my hubby...!!!!!! Who would have thought that an IM meant so much! He was at his port call..and I am VERY JEALOUS! I wanted to be there to see him but a family trip was much more important.He promised to call as soon as he got the chance.
Saturday we got up and went to the Kids something in the Park....E got to play with her friend E...and they had a nice time.I just can't stand being around unruly kids!! There were big kids there running over out tiny girls.So we finally had to leave before I ended up in jail over these misbehaved kids pushing and shoving..wouldn't have been how I wanted to spend my Saturday.
We went to the local "beach".I grew up there and never thought much of it as a beach.More like a mud hole.It is nice because there are no waves..it is the Gulf so it is nice and warm..but MAN I am spoiled by waves and white sand!Then around to where we spread my Daddy's ashes 5 1/2 years ago.I haven't been back since that day.We spent a lot of time there camping,fishing,floundering,scalloping,and skiing...A lot of memories with him there.So it was hard driving out there.But we did.I had a cry and let him know that I missed him and love him so much and that he should see his beautiful granddaughter who wouldn't be here if it weren't for him putting in a special request with the man upstairs for us.
We went our way back to mama's..and then on to Goodman's BBQ! We pigged out...Nothing like a nice chef's salad,mini bakers,broccoli cheddar bites and TEA *yes SWEET TEA..is there any other kind*!!
We packed the car Sunday .. B called !!!!! We were all so happy to hear his voice! It was the best day in a long time.I love him so much.It is so hard to explain to people who have never been through it.It has been so long since I have talked to him and heard his voice I held onto every breath I could hear in the phone.E had to talk to Daddie and tell him how much she loved him and missed him and that we can't wait for him to come home...Lots of mushy things... :) I can't wait to see him and have him hug me so tight like he always does.Nothing like it!!SIGH
I got the car packed and off we went....
We got on the interstate heading home...On East I10 we passed a weigh station and were cruising right along.I HATE driving slow..and I am glad I do because what happened next might have been a horrible scene involving us!
I am a very cautious driver.I watch everything around me.I am aware of people swerving over and trying to pass me.So I get into a clump of cars and there is a truck pulling a travel trailer.He was going slow so I pass him in the left lane.As I am passing him I look across to the West bound lanes and see a grey beater car in the passing lane with dust coming from the road.I remember they had the window down and thought what is he doing...And I blink and I see him coming across the median towards me AIRBORNE,hit the embankment and I see dirt flying up,and he lands just behind my car,I see a cloud of dirt and sparks and the car flipping 3 times!!!! And the cars behind me are GONE! I slow to about 40 to call 911!! I thought I was going to be sick.I was thanking God that I did speed up and pass the truck because if I would have been doing the speed limit I would have been hit.I was so nervous I had to pull in after calling 911 to calm down.I just hope that the cars behind me and the driver are all ok.I can't get the images of the car coming across there out of my mind and how close to the back of me he was!I wonder if there were kids in the car..I wonder if he was on his way to see his wife,mom and dad,if he was wearing his seat belt.And if the people in the other cars were watching it as I was unfold...So horrible.
We finally made it home and had another phone call from B! It calmed me down some but it made him worry when I told him what happened....
Car unpacked and now to go grab fast food....This week is going to SUCK.E's teacher is going out for the rest of the year,water play starts up again,the thing is back on her arm...and ballet pictures are this coming weekend...!! Stay tuned and I will post new pics and the story about the ice show and whatever I can post about :)
