We went last year to the Princesses on Ice.We had purchased the tickets through the USO.Well we don't get much in the way of USO goodies here at our base which SUCKS.We have to go to Mayport because they seem to get all the good stuff.It was fun but I had my eyes on the DREAM SEATS! I didn't know what they were called but appropriately name..that is what they were at the time.
I looked online to see when Disney on Ice might be coming back to Jacksonville.I found the tickets went on sale the day after we came back from Disney *after my Bday trip*...HOW FUN! I learned they went on sale at 10am! SO I was online and on the phone at 9:59! I got 4 Dream Seat tickets...!! For me,E,E and another E..WOW !!The price was as expected for anything Disney but I knew E would have a blast.The shows were Cars,Little Mermaid,Lion King and the main show was Fairies! She loves Rosetta..and I knew this would be a blast for her.
I kept it a secret but it was oh so hard.She would ask when seeing the commercial on TV if we could go.I would have to tell her no because Daddie wasn't home and I was scared to drive there.She didn't buy it because we had TOM TOM and he takes us everywhere...
So I made her a Tink shirt and she had no clue why.She wanted to wear it on a few occasions..but I wouldn't let her...LOL Mean I know...But hey I knew she would get something on it.
E and E came up from Perry to stay with us.Neither of them knew of this plan either.We met up with them in Yulee to go to the beach,do some shopping and go to CFA :) They had a blast!
The next am we were up with the chickens because 2 little girls wanted to play.I told E we were going to Jax to show them where we liked to shop.She was ok with that....
We got to the Arena and she said ... MOMMIE WE ARE GOING TO THE ICE SHOW!! She remembered it from the last time we were there.I tried to convince her otherwise but it didn't work.
We went to see the Princesses that were on display...and to find our seats.They were AMAZING !!! E was most pleased..and so was I.She couldn't contain herself...She was telling her friend E all about what happened in the Princess one.It was funny.
Minnie,Mickey,Goofy and Donald opened the show.

Next was Cars.That was cool.Enough to get my E out of her seat and in the aisle dancing.I was trying to figure out how they would pull it off..and it was real cars.HOW COOL!!

Then Little Mermaid.It was very colorful..and neat watching Ursula skate in her blow up costume.E was singing along..lol She is a Dis Nut :)

Next out was Lion King.It was pretty cool too.The costumes were crazy..right down to the tongue hanging out of Ed's mouth !! LOL And the wildebeests..they were neat.

All in all we had a wonderful time.I will be watching for more Disney on Ice shows to come.She wants to see HSM on Ice.I hope it comes this way!! I told B about the show and he was sad he diddn't get to go with us but said next time he hopes to go and we will get Dream Seats again!
The girls got to play a little more and got to shop a little more.We went to 5 Guys to show them where we like our burgers from..and they headed on their way back to Perry.And we followed the next day.
And this is one of the many adventures we have done to keep busy with Daddie gone :) Next up.I will FINISH my trip report!!!!!!!!

Oh my gosh DULCIE!!!!!!!!!! How stinking FUN!!!!!!!! What an amazing memory for ESH. It looks like your seats were incredible... :) I'm sad that B wasn't there, but it looks like E's dream come true. I can't believe she remembered the arena from last year. I remember when you guys went!!
Hey - we're getting a 5 Guys on Eagle Rd! You'll have to take me there when you come out to good ole Idaho to visit me.
